CIFA offers Coaching and Administration Course

The Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA) in conjunction with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) will be hosting a Coaching and Administration Course from May 18th to the 22nd. The Coaching and Management Course will encompass both classroom seminars, at the University College of the Cayman Islands, and practical sessions, at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex field, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.

The President, 1st Vice President and General Secretary of all member clubs of the CIFA have been invited to attend the Administration course. One coach from all member clubs of the CIFA has been invited to attend the Coaching course.

The Coaching course will encompass the following: The Attributes of a Coach; Teaching The Player; Coaching The Game; and The Role of The Coach on The Bench. The Administration course will cover the following: Club Administration; Development of Member Club’s; Long Term Planning; Budgets; Marketing; Player Development; and Camps.

The General Secretary of each member club of the CIFA is reminded to contact the CIFA office at 949-5775 by Thursday 17 May 2007 to inform the CIFA office of their representatives that will be attending the Administration and Coaching course.
