A boat carrying 19 Cuban migrants arrived in Cayman Brac Monday night and departed during the early hours of Tuesday morning, when weather conditions were more favourable.
Immigration officials reported that the boat arrived in good condition and that the migrants – 15 males and four females – were waiting for a break in bad weather conditions to continue their journey.
The group was monitored during its overnight stay in Cayman Brac by Royal Cayman Islands Police Service officers and no assistance was provided.
