Nine people were arrested for various offences including drugs and burglary during an operation in West Bay last week.
‘We are determined to make sure those involved in criminal activity in West Bay do not get away with it,’ Area Commander, Chief Inspector Angelique Howell said in a press release. ‘Anyone who is involved in crime should take this action as a warning. If you have not been arrested yet, you soon will be.’
In separate incidents, five people, aged 44, 41, 41, 22 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences relating to ganja, cocaine and utensils; three people, aged 55, 53 and 38, were arrested on suspicion of burglary; and one person, aged 36, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
‘We will continue to pro-actively patrol in West Bay, targeting people who are involved in drugs and burglary to help keep the district as safe as it can be,’ added Chief Inspector Howell.
