A 38-year-old woman, a 47-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were arrested for driving under the influence over the past weekend.
Other traffic arrests were recorded including driving without being licensed, driving without Insurance and using a vehicle with expired registration. A series of operations will continue to be carried out throughout the Island and those caught breaking the law will be dealt with accordingly
‘Traffic operations such as these will send a clear message to drivers that disobeying our traffic laws will not be tolerated and there will be a price to pay,’ said Area Commander for George Town Police Station, Chief Inspector Harlan Powery.
