Stars will shine on All-Star night

This weekend will see women basketball’s brightest showcase their talents.

The inaugural All-Star night will take place Sunday 2 March at the Digicel Court. The festivities will start at 6pm with a 3-point shoot-out, followed by the All-Star game.

The evening will feature the top twenty players in the women’s basketball league. At press time, the names of the all-stars were not released.

The event is expected to tie in with honouring women’s month. As a result, the All-Star Night is scheduled to be sponsored in part by the Women’s Resource Center.

Prizes will be given out on the night and the public is urged to attend.
