A preliminary inquiry will be held on 19 June into charges of indecent assault on a male juvenile.
Magistrate Nova Hall fixed the date when Gifford Clayton Prendergast, 35, appeared before her on Thursday. Defence Attorney Keva Reid renewed her application for bail and it was denied.
Ms Reid had applied for bail when Prendergast was first taken to court for these charges on 15 May. Another magistrate denied bail that time.
The six charges relate to allegations involving one boy over a two year period.
If the magistrate holding the preliminary inquiry finds there is sufficient evidence to put Prendergast on trial, she will commit the matter to Grand Court. The next session of the Grand Court begins 2 July.
The defendant was remanded in custody to George Town Police Station.
