Community benefits from Conyers

The partners of Cayman Islands law firm, Conyers Dill & Pearman, have instigated a new employee participation scheme dubbed Conyers’ Community.

Every three months the firm selects an Employee of the Quarter. Aside from some personal benefits, that employee also gets to select the recipients of the firm’s quarterly donation of $2,500. The beneficiaries can be Cayman based charities or other worthy causes. The sum of money can be broken up into smaller donations as appropriate.

Conyers’ current Employee of the Quarter is Kenzel Dixon. Kenzel has been with the firm since July 2006 as the firm’s messenger and was chosen Employee of the Quarter as a result of him fitting additional duties into his already hectic schedule and exemplary performance throughout.

Kenzel chose Meals on Wheels, Cayman HospiceCare, Cayman Islands Cancer Society, The Pines Retirement Home and a private request for children’s clothing as the recipients of this quarter’s donation.

Managing Partner Rick Finlay said that the firm looks forward to continued support for the community and has been delighted with the response from staff to the initiative.
