Senior attorneys called to the bar

Conyers Dill & Pearman’s Alan Dickson and Cora Miller have been called to the bar of the Cayman Islands.

Before relocating to the Cayman Islands, Mr. Dickson was head of the firm’s Singapore office. Ms. Miller relocated to Conyers’ Cayman office from the BVI office, and will continue to service her clients in both jurisdictions.

“We are pleased to welcome Cora to the Cayman team, alongside Alan who joined us in August,” said Kevin Butler, partner and head of the Cayman Office. “Their expertise will bolster our corporate practice in the jurisdiction.”

Mr. Dickson’s practice encompasses many areas of corporate and commercial law, with particular experience in securities law, private equity, investment funds and mergers and acquisitions. He also advises public and private companies in a wide range of financing and restructuring needs.

Ms. Miller’s practice covers all areas of corporate and finance with particular focus on banking, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, mining, oil and gas, aircraft financing, vessel registrations, continuations, joint ventures and regulatory governance.
