What is government doing?

It is difficult to understand the Cayman Government.

It receives all of its income from the private sector, so one would think that it would want the private sector to be as efficient and productive as possible.

However, this is definitely not the case, because of its constant interference.

If you lived on a platform high up in the air, supported by pylons, would you be leaning over with an axe and chopping at your support?

No, of course not! But isn’t this exactly what our government is doing right now?

They do not want the rollover to apply to them because ‘it might make Government less efficient’.

So why, in God’s name, do they apply this ill conceived law to the private sector.

Please tell me how this makes any sense at all.
