Cayman Airways cancelled four flights to Miami Monday morning as Tropical Storm Fay marched toward Florida.
A decision was to be made yesterday evening on whether flights would be cancelled today.
Change fees and penalties were being waived for all passengers travelling to or from any Cayman Airways Florida gateways between Monday and Wednesday.
Only two changes per ticket are permitted. Passengers who decide to cancel their reservations, a miscellaneous charge order for the full value of the ticket may be issued. This must be issued before departure of original travel date and is valid for travel on Cayman Airways only for a year from the date of issuance.
Due to the uncertainty of the weather situation in the Florida area, passengers are advised to check with the Cayman Airways Reservations Department, which operates from 7am – 8pm, or the Cayman Airways website at www.caymanairways.com for the latest and most accurate flight information.
