Cayman Islands lost their final match to Grenada 4-2 on Wednesday night in Guadeloupe.
It was their final match of the Stage 2 rounds of the Digicel Cup and a miserable ending in rain soaked conditions.
Eric Brown got Cayman’s two goals against Grenada.
Cayman lost 1-0 to Martinique on Monday night and 7-1 to Guadeloupe in the opener on Saturday.
All matches were played in torrential rain and soggy conditions which coach Carl Brown felt put Cayman at a distinct disadvantage.
Carl Brown said: ‘We’re disappointed but can hold our heads high. We didn’t play well against Guadeloupe but they were a far better team anyway, with professional players. It was raining heavily and because they were physically much bigger than us, could play it in the air to their advantage.
‘We could definitely have beaten Martinique but Carson Fagan got sent off early in the game and it was too much for us, playing with 10 men.
‘We scored first against Grenada and again it was raining heavily and they adapted better to the conditions.’
