Visitors to the Duty Free Centre on Edward Street in George Town were treated to free champagne and catered hors d’oeuvres from Mise en Place.

Z99 radio did a live broadcast throughout the night with presenter Jason Howard at the helm.

Major discounts were offered throughout the evening to all who attended.

The theme of the night was ’30 years, 30 stores, $30 off’, and a good-as-cash coupon was given to everyone to use with their purchases.

Additionally, ’30 per cent off for 30 minutes’ specials ran throughout the event culminating with 30 per cent off all diamond jewellery announced live on air by Managing Partner Renard Moxam.

Various movers and shakers from Cayman’s social circuit were in attendance at the popular event often regarded as the warm up to Island Companies’ huge Business After Hours event that always follows a week later.

Mr. Moxam said: ‘It was refreshing to see the community come out and support this event with such excitement and enthusiasm, especially in light of the current economic challenges.

‘We actually surpassed our expectations for the evening and we look forward to continuing the good cheer on Thursday with our annual Chamber of Commerce Business after Hours event.’

In addition to Business After Hours, Island Companies Ltd will be celebrating its new luxury jewellery store opening in Camana Bay on 11 December, and holding a family fun day at its newly completed Flagship building in George Town on Saturday 20 December.
