Flower Show celebrates love

The Garden Club of Grand Cayman will present its annual Standard Flower Show, titled Love Is In The Air, on 6 and 7 February.

The show will open to the public at 1pm on Friday, 6 February. The show hours are 1pm to 6pm on 6 February and 9am to 4pm on 7 February.

The show will be held at ‘Sea Alissa’, home of A. L. and Melissa Thompson, at 713 South Church Street in South Sound. Donations are encouraged and will be used to fund Garden Club community projects such as the landscaping of the Seafarers’ Hall and the ongoing garden restoration at Miss Lassie’s house.

Horticulture entries from the public are encouraged and include annuals, perennials, cut arboreal specimens, potted plants, and homegrown fruits and vegetables. Horticulture entries will be accepted Thursday, 5 February from 1pm to 7pm and Friday, 6 February from 7am to 9am.
