Constitution meeting Thursday

The Cayman Ministers’ Association will host a public meeting concerning the proposed constitution on Thursday at 7pm at the Family Life Centre in George Town.

The CMA intends for Leader of Government Business Kurt Tibbetts, Leader of the Opposition McKeeva Bush to address the meeting, as well as speakers representing the Chamber of Commerce, the Cayman Ministers’ Association, the Human Right Committee and the Seventh Day Adventists.

‘We hope for an strongly urge full community support for this meeting, as it is intended to be an important step in informing the public about the new constitution and some of its workings,’ the CMA said in a public notice.

Time will be reserved for questions from the audience after the speakers have finished.
