Cayman Camera reopens under new management today, Monday, 2 November.
Bouke Maddock and Eva Aiken have given the historic business on Goring Avenue a makeover while still keeping the same quality service customers have come to expect.
A fixture in George Town for 30 years the store closed this summer, and Mr. Maddock says the owners felt it was important to find someone to take over what has become an icon in the community.
The store boasts a brighter show room, and hands on display making the cameras more accessible for customers to tryout before they buy.
Beginners and professionals will find a wide range of top brand digital cameras such Kodak, Leica, Fuji, Nikon, and Olympus in all shapes, and sizes, to meet your needs and budget.
A new digital printing machine offers one touch quick and easy access to your pictures.
Mr. Maddock and his friendly experienced Caymanian staff are available to offer any assistance or answer questions customers may have, about any of the cameras or other equipment in the store.
They can also help customers who may still have outstanding business with the previous management.
Mrs. Aiken says photography classes for adults and children will be he held in the future and other programmes and activities are being planned to meet the needs of the community.
To better serve customers store hours have been extended, the Camera Store is now open 9 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday and 10 am to 5 pm Saturday.
