Police on Saturday arrested a man on suspicion of impersonating a police officer.
He was also arrested on suspicion of theft, possessing an offensive weapon and threatening violence.
Two men stopped a police officer in the vicinity of the East End Public Beach on Friday 30 October at approximately 2:30am.
They told the officer they had been stopped by a vehicle that had pulled in front of them and were approached by a man who identified himself as police officer.
After investigations carried out by Bodden Town police, officers arrested a 44-year-old man.
