A 22-year-old woman was left shaken following an armed robbery in Boilers Road, George Town late Thursday night.

Royal Cayman Islands Police reported that at about 11.10 pm the woman was working in the Meringue Town Mini Mart when a man entered the store, presented what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash.
The suspect made off with some cash and was last seen running toward Walkers Road.
He is described as about six feet tall, with a heavy build with a dark complexion.
The mini mart cashier said he was wearing a black long sleeved t-shirt, blue denim jeans and black sneakers. The suspect was also wearing dark colored gloves, described as being similar to gardening gloves and was carrying what appeared to be a handgun.
No one was injured in the robbery.
RCIPS detectives were also investigating at least two more break-ins at local bars on Mary Street and on Eastern Avenue overnight.
