Royal Cayman Islands Police have charged two teenagers in connection with an incident where another teenage boy had rocks hurled at him.
The reported stoning occurred mid-morning 23 November on the George Hicks school campus.
The 13-year-old victim suffered head injuries and had to be airlifted to a Jamaican hospital. He was expected to survive and return to Cayman.
The 13-year-old and 14-year-old boys who were charged in relation to the alleged assault will appear in juvenile court.
The reported stoning occurred two days before a 17-year-old high school senior was stabbed inside John Gray High School, allegedly by a classmate.
The 16-year-old girl arrested in connection with the stabbing was taken into police custody and remained there for most of last week.
The teenage victim was expected to recover from stab wounds to her arm and torso.
