Dressing down for kids

Donning red and green for a special dress down day, staff at Cayman Islands law firm Conyers Dill & Pearman collected donations to Victoria Bise’s charity toy drive.

Last year, 14-year old Victoria Bise organised the toy drive with sponsorship from Governor Stuart Jack. Due to the popularity of the initiative, she ran the collection again this year. Her wish is to put a smile on the faces of the children in Cayman who are less fortunate than others.

‘Vicky’s toy drive is a huge benefit to our community’s less fortunate children and I am very pleased by staff support of this worthwhile cause,’ said Katherine McLaughlin, Corporate Administrator and Children & Education Liaison Officer of Conyers’ Cayman Islands office.

‘As a mother of two children, I know how important Christmas is and how delighted these children will be to receive these presents.’

Conyers is actively involved in a number of local charities and educational programs, and for this event staff brought in specific presents for the children or donated a sum of money which was then used to purchase gifts.
