As a not for profit organisation,
the National Trust for the Cayman Islands relies heavily on contributions from
the public and companies.
One of the long-time supporters of
the National Trust, Conyers Dill & Pearman has renewed its corporate
membership with the Trust, making the law firm the Trust’s third corporate
member for 2010.
“We are very grateful to Conyers
for supporting the National Trust through corporate membership again this
year,” said Frank Balderamos, general manager of the Trust.
“The Trust would not be able to
continue to thrive without the support of our members and our corporate members,
for that we thank you,” he said.
Corporate members are entitled to a
wide range of benefits when joining the Trust. These benefits give the company
the opportunity to learn more about what the Trust does. Employees of corporate
sponsors receive a 10 percent discount in the National Trust gift shop,
invitations to all National Trust events (some at discounted rates), a
subscription to The Preserver, the Trust’s quarterly newsletter, full use of
the gardeners’ club library, the mission house research centre, insectarium and
herbarium as well as personalised field trips and presentations for employees.
