WB, GT shootings overnight

There were three separate shooting
incidents that occurred between 8pm Thursday and 2am Friday on Grand Cayman.

Two men were hurt in separate
shootings in West Bay Thursday and police said shots were fired on Templeton Street in
George Town
early Friday, damaging several vehicles.

No one was hurt in the George Town
shooting. 

Royal Cayman Islands Police
detectives were investigating two apparently related shootings that occurred in
West Bay Thursday night.

Shortly after 8.00 p.m. Thursday
police said a man was on Miss
Daisy Lane when he was shot in the shoulder. He
was taken to Cayman Islands
Hospital where he
remained overnight. His condition was not described as life threatening.

In the second West
Bay incident a man sustained slight
head injuries when he was shot in the Birch
Tree Hill Road area of West Bay
around 8.15 p.m – about 15 minutes after the first incident. .

He was transported to hospital by a
friend and was released after treatment.

There was a report of shots fired
on Templeton Street
in the Windsor Park
area of George Town
around 2am Friday. Several cars were said to have been damaged but no one was
hit.

No arrests had been reported in any
of the three gun incidents.
