All Stars line up for selectors

This season has produced some wonderful
cricket in the secondary schools, women’s and men’s leagues.

This weekend is special. They start
off on Saturday by repainting Smith Road Oval Pavilion. Everyone is invited to
come out, spend some time and assist where necessary.

Technical director Theo Cuffy said:
“We will still be enjoying some cricket as Greenies club is hosting a six-a-side
tournament while we paint.

“Sunday is a big day as our
outstanding cricketers play in the first All Stars Match at the Jimmy Powell
Oval in West Bay.”

The All Star teams are led by
Pearson Best and Saheed Mohamed. Players are sharpening their skills and
raising their hands for national selections.

Upcoming tournaments include the
ICC Americas champions in Bermuda from 27 May to 7 June featuring Argentina,
Bahamas, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Canada and USA and the ICC World Cricket
League Division 4 in Italy 7-14 August involving Argentina, Cayman Islands,
Italy, Nepal, Tanzania and USA.

The association invites everyone to
the Jimmy Powell Oval on Sunday. Match starts at 10.30am.
