Sharks face slick Oilers

Youth roller hockey continues on Friday
with the next round of games in the WestTel Youth Roller Hockey League.

The WestTel arena of Kings Sports
Centre will be the centre of activity throughout the night.

Much attention will be on the kids
and their quest to climb the ranks across the three main divisions (Atom, Mite
and PeeWee).

In the PeeWee (13U) division the
Appleby Sharks take on the Vampt Oilers at 6:30pm.

Appleby are coming off a game last
week that saw Josiah Derkensen lead the scoring with five points. He was
followed closely by Adam Stainrod (four points) and Andrew Antonysraj (three).

Meanwhile Vampt had three points
from Marc Reid last week and a pair of two-point showings from Alex Slocock and
Aaron Hersant.

Over in the Atom (10U) division the
Eats Blazers and KPMG Senators played their match on Thursday. The Blazers
boasted scoring duo Jered Holmes and Kai Robinson Allard (each had seven
points). KPMG were led by Matt Somerville (six points).

The Novice (8U) division played
their match on Tuesday while the Mite (6U) division played their match on
Wednesday.

For the record the league is on a
two week Easter break as of this weekend. The next round of games is slated to
take place around April 16.
