A suspect arrested in connection
with a June attack on a woman inside a vehicle in West Bay has been charged in
the attack and appeared before the Summary Court last week.
According to police, 30-year-old
Chad Anglin has been charged with one count of indecent assault and one count
of wounding in the incident.
Detectives investigating the attack
said two officers patrolling Gavin Road in the pre-dawn hours of 17 June
approached a parked vehicle, interrupting the attack. The offender ran off into
the bushes leaving the victim with a cut throat and several bruises.
Royal Cayman Islands Police
arrested Anglin, who officers said was wanted for questioning in connection
with the attack, on 8 July.
