Tracey hits out

Boxing action returns over the weekend with a mix of ‘white collar’ bouts and amateur fights, provided by the mixed martial arts company Proving Ground. There is one female fight as well.

Fighters competing are all local and a mix of Cayman Islands Boxing Association punchers and white collar workers from Maples, Lime and UBS.

At middleweight Eric McField faces Peter ‘Lightning’ Lewison (165lbs), Aaron Powell battles with Ansel Lawrence (175lbs). Tracey Seymour takes on Jabaka Kellier (165lbs), Shane Gallery (UBS) is matched with Bruce Blake (Maples), Jan Golaszewski (Maples) tackles Matthew aka Ali and Eamon Wilson (Lime) rumbles with Chris Capewell (Maples). It is at Margaritaville in George Town on Saturday.

There is also a grappling tournament presented by Cayman Fight Factory involving Flloyd Moxam. Boxing coach Donnie Anglin is the referee and Furious is the announcer. The ring card girls presented by One345 and the awards are courtesy of Xtr eme Sports and Jacques Scott.

Tickets are $15 pre-sold and $25 at the gate. Tickets are available at all Jacques Scott stores and Margaritaville. Gates open at 6pm at Margaritaville, fights start at 7pm.
