North Side Football Club tops the league tables of the Cayman Islands Football Association 2010-11 Foster’s Division One League with 16 points after completing seven rounds of matches.

Academy Football Club are close behind with 14 points followed by former Premier League team Sunset on 13. Latinos and Cayman Athletic Sport Club are just a little way off with 11 points each.

Scholars International “B” have five, Prospect and Elite “B” are on four each while George Town “B” and Bodden Town “B” trail behind with three points.

North Side defeated Latinos 2-1 at the G.Haig Bodden Sports Complex last Saturday. Goals came from Derron Golaub and Dwayne Wilson in the 4th and 12 minute while Dimion Sosa scored the lone goal for Latinos FC in the 16th minute.

In George Town at the TE McField Sports Centre Academy beat Sunset 2-0. Scorers were the Miguel Simms in the 47th and Yannick Solomon in the 49th.

Games continue this Saturday 11 December, when Scholars International “B” meets Prospect at the TE McField Sports Centre at 5pm and Latinos play Cayman Athletic at 7pm.

On Tuesday 14 December, at 7.30pm George Town “B” face Academy at the TE McField Sports Centre. On Wednesday Sunset play hosts Bodden Town “B”, and at 7.30pm and North Side encounter Elite at the Ed Bush Stadium.
