Jeweller helps HospiceCare

Grand Jewelers is working with Cayman HospiceCare in their efforts to raise funds.

The jewellery store, in the Morritt’s Tortuga Club & Resort, is donating part of the profits from all sales in February to Cayman HospiceCare.

In addition, Grand Jewelers will donate a percentage of monthly sales from their porcelain jewellry boxes to HospiceCare.

Dwene Ebanks, Grand Jewelers general manager, welcomes the partnership, saying “This is a simple decision for us …. It is an important decision for the owner. HospiceCare provides tangible care to many in our community during very challenging times, and [Grand Jewelers] is pleased to do our small part to help them continue their hands of support to others”.

Jennifer Grant-McCarthy, operations and fundraising manager for Cayman HospiceCare said she is excited and welcomes the generosity of Grand Jewelers.

“A community is only as strong as its partnerships. HospiceCare is delighted to see the generous hands of this business outstretched. We applaud Grand Jewelers for being an excellent example in our community. It is only with efforts like this we can continue to offer our specialist nursing services, free of charge to our patients and their families.”
