Double Dollars starts 7 March

It’s back – What’s Hot in association with Z99 brings you Double Dollars, the best way to boost the purchasing power of your dollar short of moving to a remote corner of Southeast Asia.

The concept is simple – starting 7 March you will be able to purchase gift certificates for goods or services from the featured vendors for half price. Every week features new offers, and with a limited number of certificates available per offer, you need to move quickly to get your hands on the deal of the week.

Certificates can be purchased through, with payment either online with debit or credit card, or through online reservation of the certificates and cash payment at the Cayman Free Press offices. Payments must be made within 10 working days of the reservation.

The first week

The first week of Double Dollars features special offers from Fluff ‘n Fold and the Brick House, Dog House and Brew House.

The first offer is from Fluff ‘n Fold, a professional laundry service perfect for anyone who would rather be enjoying a little more time at the beach or more time with the family.

The company offers washing, drying, folding and pressing services and even includes complementary laundry pickup and delivery for customers located in George Town or the Seven Mile Beach area.

The company is also committed to making a difference to the environment by using gas operated equipment, environmentally friendly detergents and recyclable laundry bags and even recycling used hangers.

The service is very affordable with next day wash, dry and fold services just $1.50 per pound or $2 per pound for same-day service.

The Double Dollars deal features four $25 certificates for $50. A maximum of two certificates per customer per visit will be allowed and the certificates expire after six months.

Brick House, Dog House, Brew House

The second offer features the Brick House, Dog House and Brew House at the Shoppes in Grand Harbour.

The Brick House is a family friendly neighbourhood restaurant and is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also features live music every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and is open Monday to Friday from 11am to 10pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 10pm.

With its 22 TVs, the Dog House is the perfect venue for catching the big game and features nine beers on tap. It is open from 11am to 1am Monday to Friday and 9am to 12am on Saturday and Sunday.

The Brew House is a full-service coffee shop with fresh pastries, cookies and cakes to satisfy any sweet tooth, as well as a variety of coffee creations to keep you going.

The Brew House also serves breakfast from 7am to 11am Monday to Friday, from 8am on Saturday and from 9am on Sunday.

The Double Dollars deal features four $25 certificates for $50, with certificates valid for all three venues. The certificates will expire on 31 August and have no cash value.
