Tigers maul Police and threaten Prison’s top men

 

The ESSO Tigers team produced
another excellent all round performance last weekend. They defeated Police and
joined defending champions Prison as the two unbeaten teams in the Division 1.
The Police team was restricted to 220 runs with Garth Bryan scoring 107. Marc
Chin 54 and Victor Campbell 35 were the batsmen for ESSO Tigers.

In a low scoring match By Rite
defeated Greenies 1 by one wicket. By Rite’s Omar Bryan, Adrian Wright and
Gregory Smith shared eight wickets as Greenies 1 were limited to 140. With
Marlon Bryan working up real pace from one end, Greenies rotated their spinners
fighting By Rite all the way.

In Division 2 – UCCI/West Bay were
back to winning ways defeating Chillies and Greenies Too made it three in a row
by defeating ESSO Cubs.

WOMEN LEAGUE

Teenager Estrella De Leon playing
for Motown displayed proper technique in scoring 30 runs. But it was not enough
as Island Heritage Stingrays won by 10 wickets.
