Football fans get treated to their first cup final as George Town and Roma United clash for the coveted Digicel Cup on Ash Wednesday.
It is at the TE McField Annex, kick off 7pm and although defending champions George Town will start favourite, Roma United have history on their side.
The last time these teams met in this final, three years ago, Roma won 1-0 with Wayne ‘Bigga’ Smith scoring the goal.
Smith is still with Roma and likely to be a sub so hopes he can help repeat history.
Roma defender Adrian Dawkins said: “We have been playing well recently and training has gone well too.
George Town are one of the best teams but against them we always play well.
We feel victory is already ours.”
George Town are also FA Cup holders so they know what it takes to win one-off games like these.
Skipper Ian Lindo said: “I feel like it’s our game for the taking.
We are a very confident team in our own abilities and we know that if we play to the best of our abilities the cup is ours.”
