Colts get blanked

The second week of The Security Centre Youth Flag Football League was an interesting one.

In the senior division, Zulu Warriors defeated the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital Giants 29-6. The Zulu Warriors overran the Giants defence with a devastating air and ground attack.

In the second Senior game, The Security Centre Packers outplayed the Cayman Islands Flag Football Association Saints in a 25-6 finish. The Packers were eager to avenge their defeat from last week. After two weeks of play the Zulu Warriors look like the team to beat.

Over in the middle division the Ritz Carlton Lions faced the DART Dolphins. The Lions continued their winning way with a convincing win over the Dolphins by a final score of 28-7.

Al la Kebab Titans came up short against The Security Centre Patriots finishing 6-24. The Titans offence sputtered while the Patriots found a way to rack up the points after being held to just one score last week.

Strategic Risk Solutions Steelers came out strong against the flag football association Colts and managed a 20-0 win. The Steelers coming off a loss last week playing a near-perfect game.

In the Junior division a hard-fought game between the Burger King Gators and the Walkers Wolverines ended up as a tie.

While both teams played a great game, Monique Gordon the running back for the Wolverines showed an unbelievable ability to avoid defenders. She had several huge gains for the wolverines and has established herself as one of the strongest running backs in this division.

The Maples Raiders came up victorious against The Broadhurst Buccaneers with a 12-0 final. In a complete reversal from last week the Buccaneers were held pointless while the Raiders established themselves as dangerous on both sides of the ball.

The third week of play takes place this Saturday at the Camana Bay football field.
