Tourism panel sets marketing goals

The Cayman Islands Tourism Association has announced its marketing objectives, including planning international promotions, providing marketing recommendations to the Department of Tourism and Ministerial Council for Tourism and Development and conducting regular marketing meetings with the tourism association’s membership.

The new marketing committee is co-chaired by Tom McCallum and Melissa Ladley, both long-standing marketing professionals.

The tourism association represents 200 private businesses and plays a role in co-ordinating promotions advertised through the Department of Tourism.

There will also be a general marketing meeting held in conjunction with a marketing summit from 2-4 May at Camana Bay in the lead-up to the Cayman Islands Tourism Exchange.

The Cayman Islands Tourism Association marketing committee meets monthly.

Members are: Harry Lalli, Trina Savage Christian, Tom McCallum, Melissa Ladley, Markus Mueri, Nadia Hardie, Nancy Easterbrook, Steve Broadbelt and Danielle Wolfe.
