Ashour entertains in fun first game

The 2011 Cedrus Investments Cayman
Islands Squash Open kicked off on Sunday night at South Sound Squash Club.

Twenty-four of the best squash
players in the world battled out on court 1, with some incredible squash. There
were so many good matches it’s hard to know where to start.

The highlight of the day was
undoubtedly the final match between Cayman’s Myron Blair and 2010 World No.1
Ramy Ashour from Egypt.

It was one of the best exhibition
matches ever seen, with one of the visiting squash journalists saying he
thought it was the absolute best exhibition match he’d seen – and he has seen
many over the decades.
