LIME back in WB

After a four-month closure for renovations, LIME once again has a presence in West Bay at Heritage Square, but this time with more to offer, including longer hours.

Opened originally in the 1990s when LIME was known as Cable & Wireless, the location used to offer only bill payment and mobile phone top-up services. Now customers can obtain a full range of products and services at the store.

“It’s just like our flagship stores,” said Marketing Executive Carolyn Lawe-Smith.

“You can get basically anything we offer here and you don’t have to go into George Town.”

The store has a wide variety of LIME mobile phones and accessories in stock from BlackBerry, Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and other manufacturers.

It also carries the latest in touch-screen technology, like the Samsung Galaxy Tab and a selection of Android smartphones.

Store manager Mike McLaughlin said another big benefit of the location is its 10am-to-7pm, Monday-through-Saturday hours.

“It’s open longer than all the other locations,” he said. “It gives people the opportunity to have greater access.”

The location will also be more convenient for the many people living in West Bay, said Daniel Tathum, LIME Head of Department – Retail Sales.

“If you live in West Bay, then the convenience of having a LIME store in your neighbourhood is a welcome addition,” he said.

“We are very pleased to see the Heritage Square location open.”
