Dolphin Cove wins tour award

Cayman Islands’ Dolphin Cove has won the Princess Cruises High Volume Award for the Tour of the Season.

The West Bay park was honoured Tuesday for its tours at the Stingray City sandbar and its dolphin swim.

Also, Don Foster’s Dive Cayman won the Princess Cruises award for Rays and Reef Snorkelling Low Volume Tour of the Season.

Dolphin Cove Marketing Director Alan P. Parada said the award means everything to Dolphin Cove.

“This is the result of hard work, integrity and professionalism,” he said. “Starting with the management team… they always have time for us to talk/express ourselves, we have freedom, and the working environment is fantastic.

“Dolphin Cove has full trust in us to get the job done and we look forward to embracing new challenges. We opened just over two years ago here in Grand Cayman and we have won the trust of our local people and we are now being recognized by the cruise lines.”

He added: “There are no words to describe how happy the Dolphin Cove family is now.”

And Mr. Parada said that, personally, the award is representative of the effort and hard work in every job he does.

“Quality of service is the key to success,” he said. “It doesn’t matter if you have a great product if your front line does not match. I’m proud to say that I’m always on the front line for Dolphin Cove.

I work at the pier receiving cruise ships passengers, and their experience starts at that very moment. From the first time they see us they are greeted with excellent customer service and then they continue on to the rest of our Dolphin Cove family who eagerly await their arrival at the facility.”
