Donation boosts Estella Scott-Roberts Foundation

The Estella Scott-Roberts Foundation recently received a $2,500 donation from the funds raised at the third Annual Mistletoe All White Affair party organised by Amicus Investments Ltd and hosted at Abacus in Camana Bay.

The Foundation thanked the organisers and those who came out to the event for continuing to support the development of the organisation, which keeps Estella’s memory alive and enhances the community.

Foundation chair Rayle Roberts said, “It is only through community partnerships and donations such as these that we can continue to develop projects and educational campaigns that further achieve the Foundation’s vision of gender equality and a life free of violence for all.

“These donated funds, for example, went directly towards assisting us with our most recent, successful event, the Steps to End Silence Walk to commemorate Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April.”

The Estella Scott-Roberts Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation, seeks to carry out the work of the late Estella Scott-Roberts by carrying out activities to facilitate the empowerment of women, men and children; advocate for and support equity and equality for women and girls in all areas of life; and support policies and research projects that further the aim of gender equality and the advancement of women’s issues.
