A lucky winner and nine of her friends enjoyed a VIP night on the town recently thanks to Cayman Free Press and Elements Ultra Lounge.
Ashleigh Mascarenhas won the competition by entering online at caycompass.com/competitions and correctly answering the question ‘What are the four elements?’.
Her prize included limo service for 10 people as well as VIP bottle service all night long at Elements nightclub.
Ms Mascarenhas said she was very excited about the prize and had no trouble finding nine friends willing to join her for the VIP night out.
She entered the competition on the spur of the moment after seeing it advertised in the Caymanian Compass.
“I entered at work, I saw the newspaper on the desk and just entered,” she said.
According to Harry Lalli of Elements, the club was created to be something unique.
“It’s been very well received – when people walk in you get the wow-factor, especially for Cayman. The whole thing with Elements was for each element to create a different atmosphere, so it’s basically going to four different bars without leaving the premises,” said Mr. Lalli.
The venue was designed based on the four elements – earth, fire, air and water – with each area representing one of the elements.
“When you walk in the earth bar is all done in earth colours with river rocks and everything, and at the water bar everything is blue with water behind it and the fire bar has actual flames behind the bar and air, which is always the most difficult because it is invisible is a separate VIP room. We have two DJs because we have two different floors, so upstairs you can hear different music from what you are getting downstairs,” Mr. Lalli said.
The competition ran from 1 June to 26 June on caycompass.com.
