Wilhelm returns to spread some more Dutch mastery

The Cayman Islands Football Association is registering participants for the Dutch Soccer Camp which takes place 8-12 August at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex, under the supervision of celebrated Dutch coach Roy Wilhelm.

He will be accompanied by his team of experienced coaches, including a goalkeeping coach. Since the introduction of this camp two years ago, it has grown in popularity rapidly.

Wilhelm and his staff from the Dutch Soccer School follow the techniques and principles of the country’s great academies.

The registration fee remains at $150 and includes a kit, a ball and refreshments, with expert tuition from Wilhelm and his assistants Sander Verhoeven, Carsten Ditchfield, Sietze Warniers and Jelle Goudswaard.

The camp will runs from 9am-1pm daily and the instructors will be focusing on technical and tactical drills to ensure that the participants improve on fitness as well as fitness.

Wilhelm saw the Netherlands come second in last summer’s World Cup so there is still a lot of value in the Dutch method. PSV Eindhoven is one of the most successful clubs in European history, having won the Dutch league seven times.
