Kirk Office Equipment schedules children’s, parents’ event day

Kirk Office Equipment has been in business in the Cayman Islands for close to 30 years and has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce since 1984, says Beth Taylor, store manager.

“Many of our staff have been with us a long time, so we have a wealth of customer and product knowledge,” she said. “We are 100 per cent Caymanian owned and proudly support local businesses, charities, organisations and schools. We have an ongoing ‘give back to schools’ programme that donates 10 per cent of sales to the school of the customers’ choice. This programme has been in operation for a number of years and has been greatly appreciated by the education sector.

“We have a huge inventory of supplies including branded and value products that caters to all our customers whether businesses, or parents looking for school supplies,” Ms Taylor said. “We also carry computers, printers, office equipment and office furniture and provide on Island warranty support.”

Being environmentally aware is very important to Kirk Office.

“We are fiercely aware of the growing demand toward sustainable, yet affordable alternatives, and we have taken significant steps in that direction,” Ms Taylor said. “We have an HP toner and ink recycling program where empty toners and cartridges are shipped off the island. We also carry a growing range of environmentally friendly cleaning and 100 per cent recycled paper products, which are becoming very popular with businesses all over the island.”

As a thank you to the community this month Kirk Office Equipment shall be holding a ‘Kids and Parents’ event on Saturday, 27 August, Ms Taylor said.

“We will be having all sorts of activities says Beth and also offering a 10 per cent discount on Crayola & Elmers Glue products all day. It will give both parents and children a chance to shop and have some fun at the same time. Doors open at 9am with the activities starting at 12pm.”
