Intertrust Group invests in the long run via marathon

The Cayman Islands Marathon continues to garner increasing support from both the running and corporate community. The event’s most recent assurance comes from Intertrust Cayman (formerly Close Brothers Cayman Ltd), who has made a long-term commitment and injected significant funds into the event to become title sponsor of the race.

“We are very excited about this new partnership with Intertrust Cayman,” said Race Director Rhonda Kelly. “We are always thinking of ways to improve the race experience for our runners and Intertrust’s financial commitment and resources will allow us to implement some additional elements we have been talking about. They have also come to the table with some unique and creative ideas, particularly as it relates to increasing participation from the business sector, and raising general awareness of the event so we look forward to collaborating with them on these enhancements.

“This race just keeps getting bigger and better each year and it is because of the support of all of our great sponsors who see the benefit of this event not only to the people who participate in it but also to the island as a sports tourism product. We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has invested in the Cayman Islands Marathon and we look forward to great things on 4 December.”
