Go Gas offers
propane installation

A new business has opened, specialising in liquid propane gas installations for residential and commercial applications in Cayman.

Lead Service Technician Raymond Northover has more than 13 years of experience in the field, formerly as the lead service technician at Home Gas.

“I am the most experienced propane gas installer in the Cayman Islands,” Mr. Northover said.

Go Gas is based out of Alexander Place on Dorcy Drive in George Town. The company does not sell propane or parts, rather it is geared toward installing propane gas systems in new homes or businesses, or ‘retrofitting’ existing buildings that did not include propane in their initial design.

Mr. Northover said the company currently consists of two employees. He said propane gas can be a good choice for buildings all over Cayman, for owners looking for a lower-cost, lower-polluting alternative source of energy.

For residences, propane-powered devices include ranges and ovens, clothes dryers, tankless water heaters, outdoor barbecue and kitchen areas, outdoor lighting, pool heaters and emergency generators.

For commercial buildings, propane-powered devices include industrial tankless water heaters, industrial clothes dryers, grills, ranges and fryers.

Additionally, apartment complexes with propane appliances can be outfitted with individual metres to track energy use.
