Appleby has signed on as a seminar sponsor of Leadership Cayman 2012.
“On behalf of Leadership Cayman, we are delighted to welcome Appleby as one of the seminar sponsors of the 2012 programme,” said Simon Garnett, the Leadership Cayman 2012 Chair. “They are another example of a local firm, recognising the benefit and values this prestigious programme brings to the community.”
Mr. Garnett, a graduate of the inaugural Leadership Cayman class in 2010, also acknowledged Appleby’s support in the form of guest speakers provided during the 2011 programme.
Since the programme’s inception, 22 participants graduated from the inaugural class in 2010 and 18 graduated in June 2011. There is a full class of 25 participants in 2012. The unique offering of the LC programme is the calibre of speakers and decision-makers that each LC participant has the opportunity to interact with, said the Chamber of Commerce. Participants benefit from diverse interactions through a series of seminars and retreats ranging from business, government, education, media, social services, criminal justice and the arts.
