A gunman entered a house Sunday evening in West Bay and robbed a Capt. Currys Road resident, taking the victim’s wallet and two cell phones, police said.
No shots were fired and no one was injured during the incident, according to a news release issued by the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service. The suspect, described as of slim build and between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet, fled the scene on foot.
The robbery was reported at 6.53pm on Sunday, authorities said.
The male victim told police he was at his residence when a male armed with what appeared to be firearm entered his home and stole his wallet and a pair of cell phones. At the time, the suspect’s face was covered with a black mask and he was wearing a long sleeved black shirt and a long pair of black trousers.
Police said further details will be made available in due course.

No Shot were fired, No one was hurt, No one was caught, No one was arrested, No one was charged, No one was convicted, No one was sentenced and so on and so on and so on…And it seems no one really cares including those in charge, people are to busy focusing on the real threats to the Caymanian way of life such as Roads and Dumps being moved, Buildings going up and Canals being dredged. Oh well I guess with all the crime in Cayman now, they may as well just go ahead and turn it into a Big City..
