The Cayman Motor Museum has partnered with the Miss Cayman Islands Committee to hold an exclusive fundraising event on 21 April titled “Fashion in the Fast Lane”.
The fashion show will feature reigning and former Miss Cayman Islands, as well as Miss Jamaica World, a former Miss Honduras and a host of local models.
The event will take place at the Cayman Motor Museum on Northwest Point Road in West Bay beginning at 5pm on Saturday, 21 April. VIP tickets are $125 and include complimentary wine and canapés. Regular tickets are $55. Each ticket holder is eligible to win prizes and giveaways such as Cayman Airways tickets, dinner for two, make overs, photo shoots and boat cruises.
“Great fashion has always been associated with the beautiful and extraordinary, so what better place to hold a fashion show than the Cayman Motor Museum where the creations on the runway are perfectly complimented by the stunning automobiles lining the red carpet,” said Mrs. Natalie Ugland, owner of Cayman Motor Museum.
Mrs. Ugland and her husband, Andreas Ugland, have donated funds toward Miss Universe training for Lindsay Japal, the reigning Miss Cayman Islands, to attend a two-week programme in New York City.
Models will strut the runway with clothes and accessories from Cayman Couture, Celeb Boutique, Just Add Water. They also will showcase swimwear from Sand Angels.
“I would like to specially thank the boutique sponsors and Mrs. Natalie Ugland who has kindly supported us by donating the location for the fashion show, as well as giving Lindsay a unique training opportunity,” Lynn Bodden, chairwoman of the Miss Cayman Islands Committee. “We are also excited and pleased that Lindsay will have a chance to meet with officials of the Trump Organization before the Miss Universe Pageant.”
