A new business venture, marketing efforts, or even establishing new relationships can even take longer. Most of our problem as human beings is that we start and stop so many times that we never really get to the momentum phase and never see the real fruit of our labour. We have no staying power and this often leads to frustration and one of the major reasons why many people quit before they ever reach their goals.
Simply put, we quit too soon and give up before we even really get started.
Don’t get me wrong, we all have moments of doubt when we question our abilities. But when we start to believe and accept those doubts is when we sabotage everything and lose the enthusiasm needed to succeed. And believe me when I say that every moment spent in doubt is a minute that could have been producing, investing, planning, preparing and constructively thinking.
You see when we believe in something, truly believe then we have to believe in the ability to see it come to fruition. This doesn’t mean that we are able to complete all of the tasks involved but it does mean that we can enlist people capable of doing so and see the end result. This week, commit to identifying a goal and then do one thing toward reaching it and work toward it. And make everything count. Don’t slack off. Take action and move forward.
Are you making 2012 count? It is up to you. Will you make your dreams, desires and goals happen this year? Ask yourself what is stopping you and then make an effort to move the boulders out of your way.
You and you alone have the power. And say to yourself every morning as you first breathe and thank God for another day,“this is my year.” Believe in yourself and think positively and then get up and work towards your goal. Motivate yourself to succeed and then do so. And then tell me how your week is going at [email protected]ahoo.com.
