Looky Ya!, the traditional arts programme promoting the cultural heritage of specific districts, returns to the Cayman Islands National Museum on 26 April.
Each month a different district is represented. This month the facility will be showcasing artisans from George Town.
Arts, crafts and traditional dishes will be on sale between 10am and 2pm. Ruth James will be preparing local delicacies, along with Cayman seafood and other local dishes.
Once you’ve had a bite to eat, take some time to support the local artisans and be entertained by the George Town Primary Quadrille Dancers, who will be performing in the museum courtyard at 12.30pm.
This will also be the public’s last chance to catch the Jonkanoo, Kitchen Dance and Linton Tibbetts temporary exhibitions before they are removed to make space for new exhibitions in May.
