Enhancing learning for special needs students is the focus for Rotaract Blue Cayman Islands.
Through a “Candies for Cash” fundraiser, the club recently donated books, games and classroom supplies to the Lighthouse School in Grand Cayman.
“It was a heart-warming experience to witness the joy that filled the room when they accepted the donation,” said Yvette Cacho, Open Arms chairwoman. “I am confident that these new gifts will aid in the development of the Lighthouse School students. The ability to make this donation is a powerful reminder of the pleasure it brings to be a part of this initiative.”
Lighthouse School Principal Carla MacVicar and her staff commended the club for its continued efforts in assisting the disabled community.
