Shockwaves shoot to build momentum

The Shockwaves will be looking for more success on the court.

The squad is among four teams in action on Monday, 21 May, at the University College of the Cayman Islands multipurpose hall. The team faces Bodden Town at 6pm in the 2012 PWC Under-16 Basketball League, put on by the Cayman Islands Basketball Association.

Shockwaves are coming off a 45-44 victory over Cayman Brac last month. Albis Amaya had a team-high 16 points, 15 rebounds and five assists while Kemar Scott chipped in 10 points, five rebounds and three steals. League-leading scorer Joshua Irby had another stellar outing with 23 points, seven rebounds and three assists for Cayman Brac.

Monday also sees Wesleyan Christian Academy battling the Wolves at 7pm.
