Industry leaders will discuss the future of alternative investments
Sir Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Group, will feature as one of the keynote speakers at the event held at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. “I am excited to be in the Cayman Islands for the Cayman Alternative Investment Summit,” Mr. Branson said. “The event has a very impressive range of speakers from the alternative investment industry that will make for some very interesting discussions on the future of the industry.”
The summit aims to attract 500 of the world’s leading institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, alternative investment managers, regulators, economists and service providers to debate the future of the industry under the theme “Innovation in alternative investments: Seeing what’s next”.
Industry speakers at the event will include Peter Clarke, CEO, MAN Group; Matt Botein, global head of Alternative Investments at Blackrock; Mel Lagomasino, the CEO of Genspring Family Offices; Anne Richards, chief investment officer for Aberdeen Asset Management and Mark Yusko, the CEO of Morgan Creek.
Organised by Alternative Investment Research Ltd., the summit is supported by of some of the largest companies in the world and in the Cayman Islands including KPMG, Deutsche Bank, Mourant Ozannes, Paladyne, Camana Bay and Virgin Unite.
