High schools to close a week early

Cayman Islands public high schools and the Cayman Islands
Further Education Centre will close a week early to facilitate moves to their
new school sites.

The closure of the three schools will take place at 1pm, 22
June, according to the Ministry of Education. All other government schools will
remain in session until 29 June, according to the ministry.

Students who attend the current Clifton Hunter [old George
Hicks campus] will be moving to the new Clifton Hunter school location in Frank
Sound. Students attending John Gray High School and the further education centre will populate the current John Gray High School campus in George Town.

A completion date for the new John Gray High School campus
across the street from the University College of the Cayman Islands in George
Town has not been set.
